I was in a Facebook forum on women utilizing relationship techniques where someone posted a video clip from a comedian’s talk show. If you’re familiar with the title of her book, then you know who ripped it off. Perhaps you weren’t around when we first highlighted this situation of intellectual property theft back in 2009 and didn’t realize it was the dirt that occurred. I was compelled to bring these mostly non-black women up to speed on who they were even remotely legitimizing in error. I took a breath and quickly filled them in.
Since that opportunist was mentioned I had to revisit the site of the original creator of such an affirming book written with love for women to better themselves. I’m relieved to hear author Sharon P. Carson’s copyright case against him is still active and I hope she wins millions. In the meantime, I really appreciate her attitude of trust that everything will work out to her benefit in the end. May it be so.
Women need to remember ONE thing:

If music reflects society and depicts the loosening ties between the sexes, many rightfully wonder where all the love songs went.
Replay Of Tough Concepts via What Women Never Hear
If girls and women trash and abandon listening to any music that demeans females or lifts men over them, then men would soon follow. If women were to like and listen exclusively to love ballads and similar female-friendly music, men would be forced to listen or go elsewhere. If sex is more hint than obvious, such music calms instead of elevates libido and aggressiveness, especially for men. It helps bond those who want to bond. It pushes sex into the background. Not forbidden but something to be earned, which challenges men and earns manly respect of females that insist on sex being earned by someone worthy of them.

What happened when you found yourself caring for someone in a ‘romantical‘ way? How did you manifest love?

As seen on my Facebook feed. I can’t make out the name from the photo of the slide, but whoever you are – thanks!!! This is too funny but OH SO TRUE!
Some of my favorite examples of courage are of women adopting the affirmative for who they really are and acting on it. I was so glad to have watched the ABC talk show, The Revolution. While there was some controversy about the network replacing venerated soap operas with scripted tv shows, I liked the aspirational message encouraging women to realize their full potential. The Revolution is hosted by Tim Gunn, Ty Pennington, Harley Pasternak and MDs Tiffanie Davis and Jennifer Ashton. Due to ratings it will end its run in about two weeks, but it’s worth checking out.

She’s every woman….meaning her potential is your potential however that manifests itself. This isn’t about chasing after a life partner but ATTRACTING those who will love and support you best! Sure, you can do it on your own…but why should you have to? Sometimes, it takes more STRENGTH to be vulnerable than live with false bravado.

The National Enquirer put an attention-grabbing spin on what is (if true) an empowering moment in the life of one young woman living life on her terms. It’s not a shock and awe publicity stunt.
FORMER “Cosby Show” cutie RAVEN-SYMONE’s family is furious that she’s fallen in love with another woman and has moved the sexy model into her home, say sources.

I just had to do a quick post reshuffling when the scans for the June issue of US GQ magazine appeared on several Michael Fassbender fan sites yesterday. So, while we’ll be discussing him as the overall example for this post, this isn’t really about him. Or any male for that matter. This is about you, women making smart choices that benefit them from a position of confidence.
The article is part of the media blitz for Prometheus. *While some of the accompanying photos are typically objectifying, it is a men’s magazine and par for the course (insert eye roll). The interview was quite good. Now onto the topic at hand.

It’s hard to believe how quickly the year has flown by. It’s already the One Year anniversary of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I’m making observations with regards to how women can use their Charm Offensive to position themselves for higher-caliber marriages and business relationships.
