This week’s meme is “I Bet You Didn’t Know I Liked”. I missed a few weeks there but didn’t want to let too much time elapse. I liked all of the Duran Duran side projects even if some of them seem a bit questionable now.

Power Station – They did an excellent cover of the Isley Brother’s Harvest For the World that should’ve been released as a single.

Wow I can’t believe it’s Friday already! TGIF!!! Does anyone else feel like this week was a bit rougher than others? IDK. Anyway the meme is songs from sophomore year in high school which I’m slightly modifying to include all ’80s songs. Excuse the video quality. I miss the Aqua Net, eyeliner and happy sappy songs because most of it was fairly positive or about nothing in particular. Lots of songs about romantic love. Compared to the doom and gloom of grunge and the the horrors of gangsta rap I’d go for sappy any day.
