Here are some definition of the word taboo if in case some of you are wondering what it really means.
Noun : A custom prohibiting or restricting a particular practice or forbidding association with a particular person, place, or thing.
Adjective : Prohibited or restricted by custom.
Verb : Place under such prohibition.
Also, I like that it is/was taboo for men to curse or use explicit language in front of women.
I'm glad it is taboo to ask a woman her age, her weight, her finances and whether or not she is wearing enhancements (ie: extentions, push-up bras, lashes, etc) Yet, it seems that some people, especially people my age (late twenties), didn't get the memo…
I'm actually glad it's taboo to openly talk about religion and politics: everyone likes each other until religion and politics are brought up.
It's sort of taboo to berate and treat really badly any restaurant/food service staff! I don't want to be eating just ANY old thing from anywhere! LOL Just one look at Brad Pitt in a certain scene of The Fight Club will explicitly show you what I mean! LOL
*shudder* I remember THAT scene lol
