Pasta with Lavender
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 medium-to-large zucchini, trimmed
1 medium carrot, peeled and trimmed
1 red bell pepper, cored
1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
2 or 3 cloves garlic, crushed
Several lavender leaves or flowers, or both (or use rosemary)
1 pound penne or farfalle cut pasta

  1. I have been having meatless meals the past three days: salmon with pasta and sweet potatoes on the side. It's great to have a break.
